Duesenberg Washer Set Washers for "jacking up" a Duesenberg tremolo system. This may be necessary if the angle of the strings between the bridge and the tension roller of the tremolo is too large and the strings are therefore touching the rear edge of the bridge. As a result, the strings cannot move freely when the tremolo arm is actuated and instead get stuck. On guitars with a strongly arched top, it can happen that parts of the tremolo touch the top and damage the lacquer. This can also be prevented by using the Duesenberg washers. The Duesenberg Washer Set consists of two 3mm and two 4mm washers, which match the Duesenberg tremolos very well. Always two identical washers are used. Whether 3mm or 4mm high washers are used must be tried out. All Duesenberg guitars have 3mm washer under the tremolo as standard.

Duesenberg TremStopperThe Duesenberg TremStopper absorbs the loss of string tension should a string break or be retuned to open tuning without restricting the functionality of the tremolo. How does it work? If a string breaks, the balance between spring pressure and string tension is no longer correct, the lever lifts and so does the overall tuning of the guitar. It is precisely this movement that the TremStopper intercepts, so that the guitar remains “in tune”. Nevertheless, the lever can be moved beyond the stop position and you can tremolo as usual. If the stopper is not needed, simply turn it 90 degrees to the side. There are two versions of the TremStopper. The longer one (TDSTL) fits on the Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola, the shorter one (TDSTS) on the Duesenberg Radiator. The only difference is the length of the tailpiece block (57.5 or 53 mm) and thus the distance between the holes for the string bushings. Since the tailpiece block of the TremStopper protrudes a little further down, the tremolo must be “jacked up” with the help of washers. Otherwise the tailpiece could damage the lacquer surface. On Duesenberg guitars, the tremolo is jacked up as standard. For other instruments, the washer set TDSWSN/G is also required.

Suitable for lefthand and righthand Tremola version. No drilling, no routing, no modifications to the guitar! The Tremola Adapter comes with screws with both metric and inch threads and four screws to mount the Tremola on the adapter plate.

Much like a table with four legs that technically can never really stand still, a traditional bridge-saddle with four contact points to the bridge housing can never perfectly transfer string resonance.That's why we have developed a bridge that uses only three contact points between bridge housing and saddle to maximize pressure and tonal transfer between strings and instrument.You have never seen a three legged table wobble, right?This is all technical jabbering - the thing is that you want to minimize areas on your instrument where resonance and vibration is lost. The bridge is a very important part in that respect.Of course our new 3-Point Radius Bridge comes with sintered steel saddles for reduced string breakage, floating bridge posts for improved tuning stability and our own friction reducing 3-Step thumbwheels.Its elegant topcurve creates a perfect radius for modern fretboards and also prevents the strings from touching the back of the bridge housing when a tailpiece is mounted.
