Duesenberg Frantz P90
A low-output P90 in a humbucker format. The Frantz brings you shimmering trebles and defined bass response finetuned for a retro-voicing. The Frantz delivers the inimitable tone of an electric guitar in the 1950's and early 1960's, always moving in the twilight between Clean and Crunch. Basic Blues, Swing, Rock´n Roll! Or "the opposite of mud", as pickup designer Dieter Gölsdorf puts it. The Frantz follows the same basic construction as the Domino but has less windings on its coil and sports two ceramic magnets. It is fitted into a regular humbucker housing and can therefore be used on any guitar with corresponding routings. Suited for neck- as well as bridge-position use. Duesenberg GrandVintage Humbucker
A balanced premium Humbucker with an even frequency band and a classic voicing. Developed and fine-tuned for years - now a benchmark for a classic und raw humbucker tone. The GrandVintage is used in many of our guitars. It became famous and celebrated under the hands of many world class acts as a tone master in the bridge position of our Starplayer TV model. It has its roots in the classic PAF type pickups but ups the game with an open German Silver cover for unrestricted treble response. Duesenberg Domino P90
The original P90 in a Humbucker format - Dynamic P90 variations are in our blood. The Domino is the result of our efforts to create a real P90 in a Humbucker housing. Already in the 70's of the passed century, Duesenberg founder Dieter Gölsdorf set out to design a pickup which not only replicates the unique tone of real P90, but can also be fitted inside a regular Humbucker cover to make it more compatible with all kinds of guitars. After long nights of testing, analysing and putting together all kinds of variations, the result of his studies was called the Domino. We think it's a perfect interpretation of what makes a good P90 pickup. The Domino acts as a perfect counterpart to our classic GrandVintage humbucker in the neck position of many of our instruments. In parts, it's also responsible for the typical Duesenberg flexibility in tone, attack and dynamics. Duesenberg D-Tron Humbucker
A transparent low-output Humbucker with defined sparkling trebles. This Humbucker delivers the famous base-tone you know from legends like Chet Atkins or Brian Setzer. The low impedance coils are fitted into a Humbucker housing while a thick Alnico magnet provides the needed output and sparkling trebles. Duesenberg LittleToaster Mini-Humbucker
The Alnico Mini-Humbucker which sounds like a Singlecoil. The LittleToaster boasts an extremely open tone with lots of sparkling trebles. These are features not normally associated with regular so called "Mini-Humbuckers". The provided black pickup frame has the outer dimensions of a regular humbucker frame, so that the LittleToaster can be installed on all guitars featuring a humbucker routing without modifications. Additionally, the "LittleToaster" features the same dimensions as the old Höfner pickups and can be used to breath new life into these instruments. The LittleToaster is used on various Duesenberg models. Duesenberg SingleTwin Domino
A noiseless P90 - It's a dream come true! Our SingleTwins feature two seperate coils, each basically being a Singlecoil cut in half, with authentic coil and magnet structure. The result is an equally authentic tone, especially when it comes to attack and dynamics - an area where most other attempts fail. And all of that without the typical noise normally associated with a Singlecoil construction. Among others, the SingleTwin Domino is used on one of our flagship models, the Fullerton Elite. Highest quality components and a special wire for the coil result in a balanced and dynamic tone with loads of transparency. Additionally, the open German Silver cover effectively shields the pickup from unwanted influences.
Duesenberg CrunchBucker Humbucker
The GrandVintage's bad brother - Increased output and fat tone. The CrunchBucker is an Alnico type Humbucker precision wound with an insulated thinner wire and more windings on the coil. This gives a fatter, more saturated tone which still remains warm and defined. Duesenberg 3-Step Pickup Frame
The Duesenberg Pickup Frames - An innovative detail. With this mounting ring, the included screw and brass disk you can angle any pickup in humbucker size so that the surface is in parallel to the strings. Little enlargement of the cavity around the brass disk is necessary in most cases. The outline is slightly trapeze-shaped to allow perfect alignment of the Duesenberg pickguard stripe. Size: 88-89 x 45mm (plus 3mm at the angler screw) Height: 4mm.
